Grant awarded to East End Surf Life Saving Club

Members of the East End Surf Life Saving Club tested themselves against their fellow competitors from across the country, when they took part in the New Zealand Surf Lifesaving National Championships. We were able to support them in this endeavour, by approving $7k towards their accommodation costs. Such events are invaluable for skill development and keeping athletes engaged in their sport. East End placed fourth, which was a fantastic result.
