How Bobby got it’s name
The Bobby name celebrates our racing heritage by honouring New Zealand’s most successful racehorse ‘Phar Lap’, also known as ‘Bobby’ by people close to him. Phar Lap is the epitome of a Kiwi sporting legend, with a big heart who put NZ on the world stage.
